![]() Our cats are OBSESSED with chewing wires, and I cannot tell you how much money I've spent replacing cords and cables at Radio Shack. This may not be the conventional usage for this product, but. Overall, this is good product, at a reasonable price. I ended up getting plastic "U" brackets from my local home improvement store which worked a lot better. Even without clamping the ends of the bracket together, this conduit will not fit inside. One caveat, the 3/4" brackets "Install Bay BCC34 3/4-Inch Cable Clamp, Black (100-Pack)" by the same company will NOT hold this conduit. Not a big deal, since I did not mind waiting. ![]() I am not sure where it was shipped from, but it did take over a week to get to me. It is not "pretty", snaking across the ceiling and the walls, but it is better than having a whole bunch of wire dangling on nails or hooks. ![]() Once the conduit was installed on the ceiling, you really cannot see that it is split. Once the wires were all laid in the conduit, I used black zip-ties to hold the conduit closed. The non-split conduit forces you to thread all the wires from one end, and if you have wires with large "heads", such as a VGA cable, you may not be able to get it through, and it would take a lot of effort to get it through if you have a long run, such as I had. Because it is split, it was easy to place all the wires. This was the best solution because I had a lot of wires that had to be routed to the projector, which was installed on the ceiling. The walls are concrete so there was no way I could hide the wires behind the drywall. ![]() I needed to install a home theater system in the basement. ![]()
